Admin Services
Administrative Computing Services (AdminCS) provides services and support for improving the capability and productivity of the university's administration, and supports Dalhousie's strategic objectives through the effective use of information technology.
Administrative Computing is divided into three main units:
- Production Support provides support services for administrative systems that are currently in production. They also have responsibility for testing and promoting new functionality into production.
- The Development team is tasked with implementation of new administrative applications and major enhancements and upgrades to existing applications. The work carried out by this group is generally organized as distinct projects.
- The Data Administration and Technical Services group provides data base administration services as well as technical services related to application delivery. As well, this team is responsible for end-user and institutional reporting.
