Basic Web Space ($free)

Basic Web space is provided free of charge to all Dalhousie Departments or recognized not-for-profit organizations on a Linux-based server. Apply in person (ILO reception desk, room 269, basement of the Killam Libary) or by completing this application form and faxing it to Networks and Systems.

Basic Web Space Features

• Site has its own domain name
• Update web pages via ftp
• Unix shell account if needed
• Changed files are backed up nightly in case of accidental deletion or hardware failure
• Include static documents as well as CGI scripts in your web site
